Confluent Cloud Consumption Metrics for Marketplace Deployments

This topic describes Confluent Cloud pricing units. Your overall charges for Confluent Cloud usage will be a combination of the total number of each unit consumed multiplied by the cost for that unit.

Unit	Price	Description
Confluent Consumption Unit (CCU)	See Marketplace listing	A CCU captures your Confluent Cloud usage based on the underlying metrics such as data stored, data ingress, egress, etc.
Confluent Support Unit	See Marketplace listing	A Confluent Support Unit captures your Confluent Support costs based on your support plan. The support plan is a separate and optional purchase from within the Confluent Cloud UI.
Confluent Free Unit (CFU)	Free	A CFU allows you to use Confluent Cloud without incurring any charges. This may include any initial sign up credits or promotional credits. After you reach your CFU limit, you will incur the applicable charges.
Confluent Consumption Included Unit (CCIU)	Free	A CCIU captures your prepaid usage of Confluent Cloud based on the underlying metrics such as data stored, data ingress, and egress. You can use the prepaid CCIU units towards Confluent Cloud without incurring any additional charges. After you have exhausted your CCIUs, you will be billed at the CCU price.
Confluent Support Included Unit (CSIU)	Free	A CSIU captures your prepaid costs for Confluent Support based on your support plan. The support plan is a separate and optional purchase from within the Confluent Cloud UI.
